GULP is the lightless deep, and down here money is light. Every glowing organism on the map is real value — eat it and it's yours. You are a bioluminescent predator: grow, hunt, and surface with your winnings. But if your head touches another creature's body, the deep takes everything back.
Value is legible by light — the brighter the organism, the more it's worth. You'll learn the ladder fast:
Every player descends as one of four deep species — same physics, different light. Down here the hunters are eyeless: a dark hood, a crescent of light where the mouth should be, and running-lights pulsing down the flank. When the maw yawns wide, it's lunging:
Some lights in the deep will be one of a kind. Collectible skins, inscribed as 1Sat Ordinals — held in your own wallet, tradeable on the open market, and equipped by simply owning them. Sell the skin and it swims away with the new owner. Purely cosmetic, always: rare light makes you seen, never stronger. The deep stays fair.
| Event | You Get | House Gets | Map / Killer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry | — | 10% | 90% into the prize pool |
| Cash Out | 98.5–95% of balance | 1.5–5% | — |
| Death | — | 5% | rest drops as orbs + killer bonus |
The house takes a small cut at three points: the entry rake, a small cashout rake (which shrinks the longer you survive), and a death sink. Every other photon of value stays in the water — as drifting organisms, or in the jaws of whoever made the kill.
Cash out (ESC or the gold button) and your creature freezes and turns to gold light for 3 seconds — a beacon every predator on the map can see, with a depleting ring that tells them exactly how long they have. You are completely defenseless: any contact kills you, even against your own body's rules. You can't start surfacing with enemies in range, and there's a minimum cashout. Find dark water. Then commit.
The longer you survive, the more of your light you keep when you surface. Your live rate is always shown above the cash out button.
You hatch with a 3-second shield — flashing, unkillable, and harmless. Use it to get your bearings and sweep up the welcome organisms around you.
GULP is a real-money game of skill. Entries are paid in BSV, winnings are paid out in BSV, and losses are real. 18+ only. Play with money you can afford to lose, and do not play if real-money skill games are prohibited where you live — you are responsible for the rules of your jurisdiction. On-chain payments are irreversible. The house's cuts may change over time, but this page always shows the live values — what's published above is exactly what applies when you play. Server maintenance can end a round early — if the maintenance banner appears, surface with your money before the restart.

Purely cosmetic, always. Rare light makes you seen, never stronger — same spawn, same physics, for everyone. The deep stays fair.
Your wallet is your inventory: when the first specimens surface, anything you hold will simply appear here — already equipped.
